This wasn’t going to be an ordinary wedding. But most of all, it was going to be all about Shabir and Pollie. There were so many traditions they didn’t adopt, and so many things they brought in to make it their own. As couples go, I found Pollie and Shabir to be I suppose, understated. Calm, easy going, relaxed, and just that lovely level of quiet serenity with them, but a clear vision and idea of what they want.
Being a great couple, meant that Craig and Alison really understood my style. A lot of their suppliers I’ve worked with before, it was fantastic to work with such a wonderful team of creatives. Alison and Craig worked at curating a group of creative wedding suppliers that would work well together and who’s styles complemented well.
I love photographing weddings at Killearn Village Hall. I’ve photographed a few there now, and it’s become a favourite wedding destination for me. It’s light, it’s airy. It’s convenient for wedding guests as it’s approximately half an hour from Glasgow, so it’s still handy for access to the airport or train station. It’s also big...
